Like St Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and the United Nations headquarters in New York City, 25 Market Place is built in Portland stone.

Brief History

25 Market Place was built in Portland stone between 1925 and 1935.

A mullion is a vertical decorative element that separates sections of a window. Transoms run horizontally.

Current Condition

It has three storeys and three fluted columns to the first and second floor separating triple-section cross transom mullion windows. The shop front is late 20th-century. The building is in good condition with a prominent corner position.
